Welcome once again to #MusicMonday!
At the outset, I want to warn you that I’ve got a different kind of update for you this week. Don’t worry – it’s all good stuff. So, let’s get into it.
▶️ David Andrew Wiebe Launches Productivity for Musicians
Well, the time has come for me to choose where to put a stake in the ground. And this is what I’ve landed on – Productivity for Musicians. And I could not be more excited about it.
I have often thought of Music Entrepreneur HQ as a jumping-off point for various music business experiments, which of course includes the podcast. It has been a while since I’ve shared about any of these, though, something I intend to remedy as quickly as possible! For example, I still have a case study waiting in the wings for The 3 Project.
But I never realized just how big a project the Productivity, Performance & Profits Blackbook would end up being. The book is a long way from v1.0 (though v0.7 is ready for consumption, and I am accepting feedback – buyers get access to current and future editions).
As I continue to work toward its completion, I’ve come to accept that getting myself steeped in the subject would make a big difference. Sounds obvious, I know, but I do have a slight case of shiny object syndrome, something I know many artists can relate to.
If I were to put this all into an easy-to-understand equation, it would be this:
Experimentation + Focus = Sweet Spot
All that to say – I am the founder and editor of Productivity for Musicians and I’m looking to see just how far I can take it in a year. Your support is appreciated. Share the posts. Drop a comment. Suggest topics.
(I know the content may seem self-indulgent now, but I promise it will evolve!)
And just so you know, there will still be updates on Music Entrepreneur HQ because I’ll want to report on the results of my efforts.
▶️ How to Make a Ghetto Sales Funnel to Sell More Music
In episode 290 of The New Music Industry Podcast, I shared about how to set up your ghetto sales funnel. The truth of the matter is that you don’t need fancy, expensive software to test your sales funnel idea. And for a lot of reasons, it’s preferable to keep things simple. Find out why.
▶️ The Productivity, Performance & Profits Breakthroughs Program Continues
The Productivity, Performance & Profits Breakthroughs program is right in line with my current mission, so you can bet that there’s more coming.
I will be going live again sometime this week to share more about productivity.
In case you missed it, here’s the week 1 live stream and week 1 assignment.
Here’s the direct link to the Facebook group.
And you can always find the book here.
